Editing a Route issue
A created route can be edited from the issue page. GeoData adds a new issue web panel — Route where you can manage your route. Also, you can edit the route using a Jira’s Edit dialog. Both approaches will be explained on the following page.
Using an Edit Issue Dialog
To edit a route using an Edit Issue Dialog is very similar to the process when creating the route. For more detail information on how to work with Route custom field, please refer to the page Creating a route issue
Using an issue web panel
The Route web panel allows you to edit as well as manage your created route. This panel is shown only on issues with issue type Route.
Users that have permission to edit the issue are able to use the panel to manage the route by clicking on the Edit button.
With edit mode enabled, you have the ability to reorder your waypoints, add new ones or remove them in the same way as when using the Route custom field.
To save the modified route, click on the Save button on top right side of the panel.
Outdated location
With Route panel, you are able to see if any of your previously added waypoints changed location. This functionality is currently present only for waypoints that are associated with issue.
If a location field in an issue changes its value, the Route panel will inform you, so if necessary, you can make changes to your route.
