Assets integration

Activation

You do not need to activate the integration with Assets: everything you need is to install Assets in your Jira and GeoData detects it automatically.

Setting up Assets attributes

To utilize the GeoData integration with Assets, you will need to add two custom attributes to your Assets object schema. These attributes will store the longitude and latitude coordinates of your Assets objects. We recommend naming these fields descriptively for easy identification, as you will need to provide their names when creating Assets-based datasets. The field type should be set as Text or Float.

In version 4.3.0 we have added support for third attribute — Address display name. This attribute is optional, and is mainly intended for your convenience when working with the Route planner. The name of this attribute can be arbitrary string. Keep in mind you will need to reference this attribute by its name when setting up a dataset.
