Markers are icons on GeoData maps that represent the locations you have added to your issues. You have the ability to customize the default marker icon by choosing from multiple pre-defined options or uploading a custom one. This feature is useful to better distinguish different types of issues when displaying multiple datasets on the map simultaneously.

Changing markers' icon

When creating or editing a dataset, choose the Custom icon option in the Marker type field.

If you have uploaded any icons, they will be listed under the Marker type field. To load a custom icon, click on the Choose file button.

After that, just click on an icon you want to use for your dataset and save changes.

Viewing custom icons

To see your dataset’s new icons, go to the map view and select your dataset. You should now see your new custom icons on the map.
