GeoData Location fields in JSM
To display location fields on your JSM Customer portal, you first need to create GeoData Location custom fields, and then add them to your desired Issue types.
To add your custom fields you need to complete two steps:
Go to your service project’s Project settings > Request management > Issue types. Click the desired issue type and then the Fields button in the top right. Select your field from the Select Field… select box at the bottom of the page to add it to the issue type. This will cause your field to be displayed in a panel on the customer portal for all requests associated with the edited issue type.
Go to Project settings > Request management > Request types and select a request type associated with the issue type from step 1. In Work item view, add all the fields which should be visible on Jira issues related to customer requests.
In order to stop showing the field, you will need to go to Issue types and click Remove next to the field.
