Introduction

GeoData introduces new ways of working with geographic data within Jira:

• Add geographic location data to new or existing issues:

  • Search for locations based on their address

  • Pinpoint specific coordinates on the map or choose the closest suggested address

• Save location metadata such as street name, city, country, and others to make precision searches of your issues a breeze

• Display your issues and Assets on the Map board to get a quick overview of their locations

• Create datasets to group similar issues with locations or Assets, and to control how they’re displayed on the Map board
